Attaching the laser tripwire to a terminal gives additional options, such as arming and disarming all attached traps, or specifying who can trigger the tripwire.

The Daytripper transmitter uses a laser time-of-flight sensor, in this case the very small VL53L0X by STMicroelectronics.As a result, they can be used in situations where physical barriers would be difficult or inappropriate, such as open fields or large outdoor areas.
