Monster High Ghoulia Yelps Doll (10.1 in) with Blue Hair, Pet and Accessories

So, last week I bought the new Barbie and Ken set, the week before that it was Monster High's Chucky and Tiffany, and in mid April it was fang-favorite Rochelle Goyle. I was also nervous that the crown wouldn't fit back onto her head and look as good as it looked in the box.

Because she’s a zombie, Ghoulia can only speak the language of “Zombie”, which only consists of moans and groans. Ghoulia Yelps™ doll struts down the Monster High™ hallways in a creeperific fashion featuring a pink vinyl skirt, graphic t-shirt and an oversized hoodie with a scary-cool print.Through reading various doll blogs I became aware of other dolls – as you do – particularly Blythe and Pullip, and decided they were ideal candidates for custom doll clothes too. My first impressions of G3 Ghoulia Yelps: Hate the glasses, she shape and color are all wrong and they hide her eyes.

I'm not sure what Ghoulia's edition size is (or why Mattel doesn't share that information) but since she sold out in mere minutes, I'd say her edition size is officially Not Large Enough. She has red horn-rimmed glasses and red crossbone earrings, although some dolls have apperad with white instead. I always see Ghoulia as the vintage girl, her "quintessential" look to me would be more 1950s inspired.Ghoulia wears a white grey and red dress with a dripping pattern under a white vest with red straps. For Physical Deaducation, she wears a white T-shirt with black sleeves and a Monster High logo, black shorts with a pink and white lightning design on the right side, and a skullete on the left, and short red leggings that reach her knee. My favorite versions of Ghoulia have bright red lips, and so I was glad to see that the designers went with that color for this special doll.
