About this deal

So how does that groove filter work in practice? Pretty well, mostly. Our carrot-orange and strawberry-pineapple juices were both quite delicious, with a fine pulp that added some texture without being chewy. But it had more trouble with the green juice, leaving behind some unpleasant chunks of kale. All in all, the H101 could be a great choice if you make many different juices frequently—it saves a lot of time and effort on cleaning, but it's also quite pricy. Built to match the rest of the appliances in the range, the Maximum Extraction Juicer comes in a glossy Candy Apple finish and a body made from durable die-cast metal. This adds considerable weight to the machine (it’s 13.52kg) but likewise, keeps it firmly planted on the worktop as it juices and there’s little need to move it with a generous 119cm power cord. The removable parts are made from plastic and stainless steel and can all be popped in the dishwasher to keep them sparkling. Large feed chutes Some of the easiest juicers to use have extra-large feeding tubes that you can fit whole apples and oranges down. This saves time, as you don't have to pre-chop all your ingredients. KitchenAid started as a single product idea. Ohio based engineer, Herbert Johnston, designed and developed a kitchen mixer that would automate the process of mixing bread dough. The introduction of new products, innovative new designs, and a full gamut of colours to what was once the white goods industry, saw the US company cement themselves as one of the most iconic home goods design.

The juice pitcher holds just over a quart, a generous size but one that might need emptying out well before the 3.2-quart pulp container gets full. You also might want to keep a dish towel on hand, as there can be some leaking and splashing involved at high speed. All the parts are dishwasher-safe and fit together simply, a nice benefit for setup and cleanup.

With any type of juicer, most of the insoluble fiber from the produce is removed with the pulp. A small amount of soluble fiber remains in the finished product, but fruit juice will always have less fiber than whole fruit, no matter how you make it. The more pulp that's retained, the more fiber the juice will have, and some masticating juicers have settings that let you adjust pulpiness. That being said, fresh fruit and vegetable juices are still incredibly nutrient-rich and are a great way to include more produce in your diet. You'll just still have to get enough fiber from other sources. Non-slip feet Most juicers we tested have these. They are usually small rubber pads or suction cups that help to keep your juicer stable during use. Some juicers are able to do more than just juice, including tasks from making non-dairy milk to grinding meat to extruding pasta dough. These often require extra attachments or parts, which a machine might include or might be sold separately. A multifunctional model is nice for someone without a lot of kitchen space, but the extra expense of the extra features isn't worthwhile if you're not going to use them. When it comes to cleaning, this juicer has lots of parts that all have to be washed by hand. Everything is simple to take apart and the kit includes a brush and scraper that are really effective in removing debris, but the whole process is time-consuming. One other small but annoying issue is that despite all those other accessories, the Greenstar Elite doesn't include a cup to hold pulp. (It's easy enough to put your own measuring cup under the chute, but what gives?) You can use this masticating juicer for making juices, soups, baby food, sauces, salsas, smoothies, milkshakes, and much more. To produce those, you can use various ingredients like fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, and herbs.

All three test juices came out pretty well, with minimal pulp but a lot of foam. Because there's no foam separator or options to choose how pulpy you want your juice, you really have no control over the final texture. For a clearer juice, we pulled out a manual strainer to capture more of the pulp and foam. Now you might be confused selecting between KitchenAid masticating juicer attachment review and KitchenAid maximum extraction juicer. Let’s see a short comparison to decide. The Maximum extraction juicer is much more expensive than the masticating juicer attachment. Quiet - this product has been scientifically assessed and found to be quieter than most in this category. To use the KitchenAid juicer and sauce attachment, you will need to have a KitchenAid stand mixer. Either the standard or tilt-head mixer can be used and are sold separately. Beyond its practical uses, the 5KSM1JA encourages creativity in the kitchen. Experiment with unique juice blends or craft your signature sauces—this attachment sparks culinary innovation.

The full-size version of Breville's Juice Fountain Compact above, this updated and well-built juicer features quieter operation and an extra-wide whole-fruit feed chute. (It doesn't actually chill any juice; the cold in the name refers to its patented "Cold Spin Technology," which ensures that the juice is heated by less than 2 degrees during processing.) Jocuu Slow Masticator Juicer Extractor: A value-priced juicer, the Jocuu required a lot of force to get the ingredients down the small feed tube, and its juices came out pretty pulpy and smoothie-like. It has some nice features, including measurement markings on the juice container and two different motor speeds, but its performance wasn't the best. The juice from the Magic Bullet Mini Juicer goes straight into an included 16-ounce cup with a twist-on travel lid, which makes it easy to take on the go. The machine itself is very simple to assemble, use, and take apart for cleaning: All the removable parts can go in the dishwasher. We were also able to wash everything by hand in under five minutes, including scrubbing out the filter screen. It doesn't include any extra parts for things like ice cream or baby food, but at this price, the juicer-only machine is still a great value.

Their products fit into the lower medium price range, though it varies greatly and depends on the type of product you are looking for, and it varies slightly between models, but not too much. Where To Buy Their Products? While there is a removable drip tray, which is useful and easy to remove and replace, there's no drip-stop Out of the box there are a few key parts – drive assembly, juicer bowl, screen wiper basket, 3 screens, auger/blade assembly, lid, hopper, 2-in-1 food pusher. There are also containers for catching juice, pulp, screen storage and a cleaning brush.

On the contrary, KitchenAid KSM1JA is built plastic with Stainless Steel blades and Screens, but another is all metal diecast construction. Masticating Juicer and Sauce Attachment includes three pulp screens, pitcher, and waste container. In contrast, the maximum extraction suggests a bunch of accessories. Who is KitchenAid Masticating Juicer for? While most of the juicers we tested did notably better with one juice test than the other two, the Nama 5800 produced excellent results across the board. Its carrot-orange, strawberry-pineapple, and green juices were all smooth, with minimal pulp and delicious flavor. The pulp coming out of the other spout was quite dry, a tell-tale sign that the juicer has extracted as much liquid as possible. The Maximum Extraction Juicer has many great features but unfortunately, the result is many parts. Putting it together the first time is a daunting task – but thankfully, there’s a step-by-step mini guide that can be kept nearby until it’s second nature. There’s some guidance as to which foods to juice and how to get the best results from different types, but without any recipes, putting together combinations of juice means there’s a bit of guesswork involved.

Thank you for signing up!

The KitchenAid Artisan Maximum Extraction Juicer 5KVJ0111 was great at juicing fruit and berries though was slightly disappointing when processing vegetables. It's a premium product at a premium price, but it's worth considering if you can stretch your budget.
