When in the stop position, both flip arms fully engage the front surface of the fence, thus preventing the board tip from slipping behind the stop.What makes the Incra 1000HD different is that it’s HIGH DEFINITION! If you look at the protractor head you’ll see more teeth than my new puppy Abby. That’s 180 positive stops. Yeah that’s right. A stop for every degree including 90 in both directions.
